Enhancing CAT Through Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy - offered by Catalyse

28th November 2025
St Thomas Centre, Manchester, M12 6FZ

A one day workshop led by Maria Kaltsi and Melanie Lee

The day will aid exploration of the similarities, overlaps, and challenges of integrating CAT and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.  It brings together two CAT therapists passionate about IFS because of its non-pathologising stance of the inner workings and healing capacity.  IFS is a psychotherapy approach developed by Richard Schwartz in the 1980s. It posits that all of us are born with many sub-minds or parts each with their own perspective, interests, memories and viewpoint. These parts are natural, not the product of trauma. In IFS all parts are welcome.

Fees: ACAT member :: £130.00  Non-ACAT member :: £145.00. Lunch and refreshments are included in the fee. [You or your employer can request to be invoiced. This incurs an additional £20 fee.]
