Queering CAT

20th October 2025
Online

Creating a shared CAT-understanding of the formation of sexual identity, “coming out” and how we relate to the world as and with LGBTQ+ people. With Rowan Tinlin-Dixon and Debbie Bell.

Based on their research over the last few years, Rowan Tinlin-Dixon and Debbie Bell will discuss ways of mapping sexuality and gender diversity, as a co-constructed and affirming practice.

They will share a CAT map and reformulation letter co-created with LGBTQ+ people, invite you to map current geopolitical patterns and procedures together, and share a set of illustrations designed to facilitate dialogue about self-self, self-other and self-society relationships for the queer community.

The workshop will last 2 hours, which includes half an hour for discussion and questions.
